The breakfast was just ok but better on the second morning with the warm French toast. We would have liked to be asked if we wanted more coffee etc. which was only warm. Difficult when the pleasant lady couldn’t speak our !!

The hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Also we ate the evening meal at Le Moulin. We really enjoyed eating together with our hosts and other guests. It was especially good to have a fellow guest to help us with translating French to English.

Absolutely gem of a restaurant in Cherienne, the next village along called Ferme Auberge du Prieure, by coincidence it was my husband's birthday and a perfect choice for a treat. Amazingly in the same village is Le Jardin des Lianes which was an absolute joy to walk around and delightful owners.
