The owner, Olivier, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. When we decided to stay an extra night he give us lots of information about the area and made great suggestions about where to visit. The village and the surrounding area are beautiful with plenty to do. The food in the restaurant was excellent, fresh and innovative and the menu changed daily. The bed was very comfortable.
We will certainly go back to stay again.

Everything was just great.
The premises are exceptional, just outside the village and yet very quiet. We went to sleep and woke up to the birds singing and the sound of the water… dreamy!
The room was nice and big and the outdoor spaces ideal for relaxation.
Martial and Eric are perfect hosts: they tend to your every need without being intrusive.
We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to be back.

Trôo is a charming village with spectacular views over the valley. There are two very good restaurants in the town. Although the walk up to the church from the village centre is quite steep the view from the top is worth it. You can also drive up to the top with plenty parking spaces. Trôo is an ideal base to explore the area.
This was the perfect property to spend the last night of our holiday . The room was beautifully furnished and was most welcoming. The breakfast had so much variety it was difficult to know what to try next. Dominique was an excellent host and my wife and I would to love to return to Cote Sud again and also explore more in the Troglodyte village of Troo.
Interesting village with evidence of Troglodyte habitation (hence Trôo)
Lovely location opposite river & park. Owner was very friendly, like me he spoke fluent Franglais and enjoyed chatting.
Excellent food, limited menu midweek, gourmet menu at weekends. Great value. Plenty of free parking space.Top stopover.
Good breakfast. Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The hotel, a typical, historical town auberge, is very well situated at the entrance to the town over the Loir bridge, with lovely views of the river.
Jean Luc and Patrick are perfect hosts, they took the time to show us around the troglodyte part of their property, which is unique. Troo is great place and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
