Very quiet location easy to find with sat nav. Breakfast excellent. Host speaks good English which helped with our limited French! Would recommend to anyone who wants a simple relaxing place to stay or en route. Some might find it too remote but that is its charm

We had a nice room, there is secure parking at the rear, the restaurant was excellent with friendly attentive service. The location, west of Chartres, is a little off the beaten track but was good for our onward travel to channel ports to next day. The small town has an Intermarche supermarket with self-service petrol station.
Offering inner courtyard views, Le gîte de Maillebois is an accommodation set in Maillebois, 25 km from Parc des Expositions de Dreux and 25 km from Chapelle Royale St-Louis.

Very friendly host and a cute little gite which was fine for a one-night stopover. Very quiet and secluded. Towels and basic bath products provided.

Staying with Diana was a memorable experience. The historic interior is stunning and her hospitality is outstanding. We felt very welcome and especially enjoyed the breakfast with an incredible selection of local cheeses, homemade marmalade, and an omelet just for us. We could use a small fridge and could warm some food for dinner which was also very appreciated. We enjoyed the stroll around the property visiting the horse and the donkey, the garden, and the chicken. In Summer it must be even more beautiful to spend time in the garden.
Set just 21 km from Train station of Dreux, A Bigeo offers accommodation in Saint-Sauveur-Marville with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as private check-in and check-out.
The picture is misleading. This property is in the center of a small town with no visible grassy verge. It is a nice place to stay but does have stairs to all the accommodation. The staff are very helpful and some can speak English.

The hotel had an excellent terrace and substantive grounds hosting the free hotel car park. The restaurant menu was a delight and well balanced and the food was very good. The staff were charming and very helpful
The proprietor, his family & staff were very helpful and polite and suffer my mangled french. Our late arrival was accommodated without any problem in the provision of dinner. Food was very good. Rooms were clean and seemed recently decorated. Parking is off road and secure in the hotel's grounds which are also useful for exercising our dogs. Unlike many UK hotels our dogs are well provided for and able to join us in the restaurant.
This is our third visit.
Lovely two nights at this hotel. Our dinner on the terrace was superb and creatively presented. Our room spacious and very comfortable. We found the town and local parks charming and much nicer than expected. A great discovery not far from Paris and right next to a huge forest.
