The garden and pool were lovely. The terrace for the evening meal was very pretty and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional.
This hotel is situated in an 85-hectare golf resort just 10 km from Blois in the prestigious Loire Valley. It also offers a tennis court and a heated outdoor swimming pool.

The room was large and comfortable. The swimming pool was very near our room. It was
clean, but the water was cold, even though the outdoor temperature was around 30 C.
The receptionist was charming. Breakfast was tasty and varied. On the first morning, we were the only guests.
On arrival to our room, we only had one hand towel, and one bath towel for my husband and myself. We ordered more and were served promptly, but it didnt give much confidence, taking into account that we were 2 persons, and we also intended to use the pool.

Clean, spacious, attention to detail. Also loved the animals, the garden and the forest. There is a large super market nearby with everything you might need Would love to come back.
Sambin, overall, does not have a lot to offer. There are a lot of chateaux available in the area, but I do think there are better small towns to stay in that have access to restaurants and shops. If you visit Sambin, definitely visit the zoo!
