Nice room and although the restaurant was closed we were served a great sharing platter and dessert along with very nice wine and beer.

Clean room and ok for a night stopover. Unfortunately the restaurant (which this is marketed as in the name!) is closed fri/sat and sun which was frustrating. No food close by so had to drive into local town for a burger (place de la frites-lovely burgers and better than the Mcds alternative). Most places in town closed early so unless you take food to the hotel and eat in room at weekends be prepared! Had a quad room with bunks for kids....very uncomfortable basic foam mattresses. Close to main roads for quick getaway first thing for tunnel home.

The apartment was completely equipped and very cozy and comfortable. There are 2 televisions with Netflix, the kitchen has everything you need and the styling is very modern but still homy. The location isn't much (Carvin won't become a tourist destination soon 😂 but it's a great location for exploring, lots of lovely cities around!)

The kind welcome and recommendations of what to visit we got from the host. They have 2 amazing dogs, we got the chance to play with them. The bathroom is exceptional and the room was comfortable. It's a perfect place to stay, if you're around. Last but not least the breakfast was delicious and enough.

The lovely well equipped accommodation met all our expectations and we were welcomed warmly. It was lovely and quiet and the village of La Bassee near by had a great supermarket where we could get all the provisions we needed. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom and shower were superb. This place is perfect , location great for Lille and environs f you don't want to be in the middle of a city. Easy to find and get to. Gorgeous place, beautifully equipped. Aurelie was a wonderful host. We will definitely go back as its a good place to stop after Calais if travelling south.
