The welcome and hospitality throughout our 8 night stay in late August were exceptional. Sylvie and Thierry were perfect hosts, very helpful with local information, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were varied, allowing us to sample local produce. Accommodation, grounds and pool were in immaculate condition, perfect base for exploring the Dordogne.

The accommodation was very clean, the showers serviced a lot of people and could have been cleaned more often but they were still in good order at 99% of the time.
I liked that the campsite was in the woods so the cabins were not too hot or too close to each other. Great for kids because it is not too close to the river or lake there were hardly any mosquitoes.
Located in Dordogne, 6 km from Sarlat-la-Canéda, Le Moulin Pointu offers an outdoor swimming pool, terrace and pond fishing. The Eyrignac Gardens are just a 15-minute drive away.

Perfect location, close to the center of Sarlat on foot. Easy parking although there is an option to book a parking spot through the hotel as well. Kind and helpful staff. Large and clean room. Great breakfast with lots of choice.

A spotlessly clean hotel by fields on the edge of the marvellous medieval town of Sarlart. Anne-Marie, the hotel owner, was a lovely person - efficient, friendly and attentive to every detail. She and her partner were super hosts, Excellent large varied breakfast buffet is well worth paying for it each day. Large bedroom with separate toilet and bathroom area en suite. All are ground floor bedrooms and our seated terrace area had views across the large lawn to the hillside in distance. Ample free parking. Very steep 15 minute walk down hill to the down and also back - car advisable especially for touring the area which is full of chateaus and many other place of interest. Weather was unseasonably cold - even a frost! There is an outdoor swimming pool for summer use. Our room was warm and cosy and the bed was very comfortable. No evening meals or lunch served but good recommendations given for some of Sarlat's many restaurants.
This stay was perfect! The view, the room, the hosts’s warm welcome. The hostess is , on the top of being a very good cook, is also a qualified and excellent masseuse. The host is very friendly and keep the property in pristine look!
