Once again our stay at La Closerie was excellent. Our host cooked us a very nice evening meal and the breakfast was delicious.

The person managing reception was friendly and helpful, but not often present in the hotel building.
A wine tasting tour was included in the price
(but I arrived too late to take it).
The room was clean and quite spacious, overlooking a pretty garden. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities good.

Breakfast was fairly basic. Plenty of choice but mostly cold food. Even the cooked food was only luke warm.
Location was quiet and relaxing and within walking distance of the town.

Peaceful, rural setting in the vineyards
The location just outside of Bordeaux was perfect.
The location just outside of Bordeaux was perfect. We went into the city 2 x and spent two days touring the vineyards all sitting 30 minutes. We enjoyed our time at the Bed n Breakfast. We were so comfortable and slept so well with the fresh air and comfy high end accommodations. The property owner was helpful with tips on where to go, and cooked dinner for us one night.

Just one comment. They didn’t actually have a menu so there was no choice of food but having said that they served an excellent meal and a very good price of €20. At the end of the meal we sat down in a beautiful living room for coffee et cetera
