A stunning property with attractive and comfortable rooms. The garden and pool were fantastic. Our hosts, Pascal and Frank, were charming and always ready to help. They suggested some wonderful places to visit and booked some excellent restaurants for us. The location of the property is excellent, so much to see nearby. We had delicious breakfasts and an exceptional supper with them.

I felt I’d fallen on my feet as everything was great. I’d had to book at short notice in half term week close to a remote hamlet to attend my cousin’s funeral.

We booked this hotel for an overnight stop as wanted to visit Martel and liked the look of the outside area. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for reasons beyond their control but this wasn't a problem as the hotel is minutes from the town and a big choice of restaurants. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was great and good value (good variety of bread and pastries). Tea and coffee freely available to make a drink in our room. Our room was basic (as you would expect for a 2 star hotel) but bathroom and shower great. Great location a few minutes walk to a beautiful town. Parking easy.
Offering a barbecue and sun terrace, Le Pigeonnier offers accommodation in a private house located in Martel. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site.

Spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. Beautifully decorated and very private. Very comfortable bed.
A very scenic area with lots of choices for travelers.
A very scenic area with lots of choices for travelers. We sight-seed but there were opportunities for water enthusiasts - canoeing and kayaking, and fishing. Old cities and plenty of caves to explore.
