INCREDIBLY hospitable hosts! They invited us personally to a celebration of the new chimney, it was so quaint and homely. The style of the house is old, but there were so many little details that were nice. The furniture seemed all more antique, solid wooden breakfast bench - the breakfast was most if not all sourced locally (also from the back garden, with homemade jam and fruits). We were able to stay with our dog (who was welcome to go to the back garden, which looks like it is amazing to sit outside in the spring/summer... we stayed around Christmas), the host's cocker spaniel was cautiously friendly with our dog, the cat wasn't a huge fan. We would definitely love to stay here again during a different season!

Beautiful Château , perfect room , charming host.Fantastic stay in a period property and duly furnished in a period style , but all the modern conveniences you’d expect . The breakfast was amazing , her pain perdu scrumptious. Don’t trust your sat nav or google too much about the address, it’s in the centre of Varaize .We found it difficult to find on a dark and rainy night , but we were expertly directed by the host
