What a surprise, the hotel was super clean and modern, the entrance was elegant and the room was clean. It was right in front of the airport, which is spot on. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a short night stay before catching a flight or if you landed late in Lyon.

Location was perfect for the stadium and such a pleasure to walk back after a late night at the rugby. Good restaurant next door - Leon. Staff were welcoming even when we arrived late. Good wifi, excellent value for money breakfast, friendly staff and clean. And you could open the windows!

Motel was dreadful, old, needed lots of attention. After reading reviews and because it was simply an overnight stop we went ahead and booked. Asked for an updated, renovated room too as it was our anniversary! Reception couldn't have cared less about us. "all rooms are renovated"! If ours was renovated it was 1982 when finished!
Never again here or any other COMFORT INN!

DO NOT WALK from Terminal 1 to Comfort hotel:
(i) It is practically impossible walking while carrying heavy luggage.
(ii) Unsafe especially if you are solo.
(iii) Taxi 🚖 is very expensive: 15€ for 1.5 KMs (0.8 miles from Terminal 1 to Comfort hotel)
2. No vending machines on hotel's site (bring your water & drinks with you).
3. A serious FLOOD was by my room's door!
I couldn't walk out & staff were very noisy trying to dry out the water lake using very loud equipments for a long time ( I couldn't rest as I was very tired)
4. No coffee maker or coffee in the room.
5. Dirty hot tub:
I found HAIR in the hot tub.
6. Breakfast is NOT worth paying ~10 €.
7. It is NOT worth staying at "Comfort" hotel:
120 € + (2* 15€ taxi 🚖) = 150 €/ night
It is VERY EXPENSIVE.
In sum,
They are WAY OTHER hotels by LYS airport.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT at ALL ! ☹️

Excellent location 5 minutes from the airport. Room compact but comfortable and very clean. Very quiet despite its proximity to the airport. Receptionist helpful in directing us to a good restaurant as the hotel restaurant was shut on a Saturday night.

shocking, the best thing was a comfortable bed, the rest was just poor condition of the room, bathroom, a kettle supplied but no cups, there were no facilities, tea coffee, water, no soap, shower gel, very basic, with the excuse that cover is to blame, complete poppycock, just an excuse to save money on goods, twice we were interrupted by staff just opening our door, at 8.00 when we didn't need to leave until 12.00 very very shabby

Train station is a three minute walk from Terminal 1 or 2. Train to Paris if you want, or in my case I took the Rhone Express to and from downtown Lyon for 16 euro each way. A cab is expensive to the city. A vaccination center in the basement was convenient. Due to the pandemic, dining choices are limited. The Moxy Hotel is literally inside Terminal 2, which is very convenient for those traveling very early. Security and vaccination inspection were quick and orderly. Lines were long but Air France had many gate agents and the line moved quickly. I was very pleased with my experience at Saint Exupery.

The airport is the only reason to be there, and it is unbelievably badly designed and organized if you’re in a vehicle, like returning a rental. You need multiple trips around the airport to get gas, then go to returns. Lanes split without indications as to where you’d end up. There is actually an “area of vocaliztion” with a sign. That’s where we screamed.
Nice hotel, suitable for short stays (e. g. if you have an early flight to catch) and for business meetings. Excellent location, just across the street from Lyon airport. Railway station is 5 minutes walking distance. Big and comfortable rooms with all sorts of equipment (including minibar, coffee machine, hairdryer, ironing board, etc.). Possibility to have an early breakfast (from 5.00 AM onwards). Very friendly and professional staff, Mr. Alen at the reception desk can even speak Slovenian (beside French, English, Italian, ...)
Excellent choice for an early flight, located in the airport terminal. Very modern and charming decoration, friendly staff, excellent room with a view over the tarmac. I'd recommend to anyone who is catching an early flight to make their life easy. Parking 0 is located just below the hotel.
Location was great, of course, it’s in the airport. No breakfast. Very comfortable bed, soundproof room. Soft Lights that go on under bed when getting up in the night, as well as in bathroom. Food from menu was more than adequate, but nothing fancy. Very convenient, efficient hotel.

We really like the convenience of staying in the airport for a morning flight the following day. It's what we would expect from an airport corporate hotel. We liked the automatic lights that came on under the bed and in the bathroom at night.
