Perfect location, close to the center of Sarlat on foot. Easy parking although there is an option to book a parking spot through the hotel as well. Kind and helpful staff. Large and clean room. Great breakfast with lots of choice.

A spotlessly clean hotel by fields on the edge of the marvellous medieval town of Sarlart. Anne-Marie, the hotel owner, was a lovely person - efficient, friendly and attentive to every detail. She and her partner were super hosts, Excellent large varied breakfast buffet is well worth paying for it each day. Large bedroom with separate toilet and bathroom area en suite. All are ground floor bedrooms and our seated terrace area had views across the large lawn to the hillside in distance. Ample free parking. Very steep 15 minute walk down hill to the down and also back - car advisable especially for touring the area which is full of chateaus and many other place of interest. Weather was unseasonably cold - even a frost! There is an outdoor swimming pool for summer use. Our room was warm and cosy and the bed was very comfortable. No evening meals or lunch served but good recommendations given for some of Sarlat's many restaurants.

The house itself is absolutely beautiful and comfortable! Plenty of space to spend together, while having your own rooms to retreat too. The outdoor space goes on forever and has plenty of activities to enjoy with adults and kids. The hosts are lovely! I definitely recommend staying here! We will be going back someday!
