The location of this property was the main driver for us to booking it. It is very close to the Voie Vert cycle track from Beaune to Macon which uses a old Railway line through beautiful countryside and is apparently one of the oldest cycling / walking paths without motor traffic in France. The property was absolutely beautiful and extremely well appointed and a very nice conversion of an Old Barn. The owner was very welcoming and Hospitable . The rooms are all themed differently and very comfortable. The breakfast we were given was very good and included a variety of choice.

The property is located in the countryside near St Boil, in Burgundy. Our bedroom was specious, very quiet & the bathroom adequate. The breakfast was delicious. Homemade with fresh ingredients, Sylvie's yoghurt bread deserves a special mention. Parking was in the courtyard. There is also a kitchen area for preparing & eating meals. The hostess, Sylvie, is charming, friendly & very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet break in the middle of the French countryside, this venue would be ideal. Highly recommended.

The hotel owner is very friendly, he is the charm of the hotel. The hotel is from the '80 and not everything is renovated, or is it called "country French"? :) the beds were very clean, food was fantastic - breakfast and diner! We haven't used the pool, but it looked nice. The area is beautiful, old (even Roman!) buildings, small villages, fields of gold.

Our stay was in September 2023. The best bit was the lovely, inviting pool and pool area. Also, has on-site parking which was great. Not ideal was the lack of staff at the time of arrival which was at a reasonable hour (15:00 or so). Although there were instructions (sent via 'messaging' on Booking.com) on how to access the property if no one was there, not all in our party received the instructions. Essentially, this would not have been a problem, however, the 'contact' phone number taped to the front door was not responding (at least on the day that we arrived), so there was no ability to access the rooms, till the one person in our party with the message arrived. The hotel was a bit sterile and could do with updating. Staff did not appear to be that warm or friendly, but maybe that was just her demeanor. One tip, the town is within walking distance (10 - 15 minutes). We had dinner at the gastronomique restaurant there (L'Empreinte) which was amazing.

Very nice location in a small village but not far away from the motorway. Peaceful, quiet and perfect for my overnight stay on the way to the south of France. The host Didier is very responsive and welcoming. Everything is just like in the pictures. The next morning started with a marvellous breakfast with delicious bread, homemade jam and yogurt from a nearby farm. I would love to return on my next visit to France!

We had a truly wonderful overnight stay. Our welcome was warm, the room immaculate , the bed comfortable , the house charming and the garden delightful. Our breakfast was generous and relaxed. We will be returning!

Jean-Philippe and Valerie were very attentive hosts and made our short stay a very enjoyable one! The room, the pool, the beautiful homemade breakfast, and of course the location and view all exceeded our expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody who is considering staying here.

Located in the Burgundy countryside, Le Château B&B is a former wine-producing estate dating back to the 19th century. Guests have free access to the seasonal pool in the garden beside the orchard.
