Beautiful maisonette with lovely hosts. Excellent communication throughout my booking and stay. This was my first solo trip with my 2 dogs and I felt very safe with the owners just next door.Julien came to welcome me and took my breakfast order.He delivered a wonderful spread before he left for work. It was so beautifully presented, there was so much there,cereals ,bread,preserves,pancakes,fresh yoghurt & juices,coffee and fruit.That really set me up for my 3 hour drive . Even my dogs were welcomed with some treats ! Everything is provided ,towels ,bedding,shower gel,TV,WiFi, even an expresso machine with pods. There is a lovely garden area with a very comfortable hammock which both my dogs enjoyed too . Thank you Julien & Marina & Wifi (the cat)for a lovely stay. Brenda,Caesar & Lottie x

We had a nice room, there is secure parking at the rear, the restaurant was excellent with friendly attentive service. The location, west of Chartres, is a little off the beaten track but was good for our onward travel to channel ports to next day. The small town has an Intermarche supermarket with self-service petrol station.

Although the setting was lovely and peaceful it was just a little too out of the way, especially as there wasn’t a restaurant like we thought. The accommodation was well presented and very clean. The bed was comfy too. We loved the gardens and pool area and having our own seating area outside the accommodation was a bonus.

The hosts where exceptional made us a lovely coffee after an extremely long drive and gave us some bread and jam for supper. Accommodation very pleasant. Facilities more than adequate for our requirements. Grounds look stunning and vast. Would highly recommend this accommodation and hosts.

It was in a good location, situated in the pretty village of Pontgouin. We were attending a family wedding in Montireau and stayed here in Une Pause Aux Halles for three nights. The property was very clean, well equipped and the proprietor was absolutely lovely- very accommodating and pleasant. We had great communication beforehand regarding our stay.

The location was central and within walking distance of most places in the old town. The car parking was behind a locked gate and very secure. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The guy who checked us in spoke very good English. Our twin room was larger than we expected, not 'huge' large but more spacious than we expected for the price, it had a lovely shower and french door windows which looked out over the car park and cathedral. Breakfast was buffet style, plentiful, varied and delicious!
