We were met by the jocular owner (who may have a fascination with The Simpsons). The room was comfortable and the good breakfast brought to our table. The parking is within a private courtyard and very suitable for those who are touring. The hotel is located an easy walk from the interesting old town, the park and riverside areas are especially nice.

We were unable to access the property when we arrived as the flat had been previously occupied and was not ready.This was inconvenient as we were tired and cold- no cafes open in Oloron at 4.30 pm.

We loved everything. The bedroom exceeded our expectations. It was super clean, huge, with a really nice vintage touch. We also had a minibar with lots of things to consume. The window faced over a really nice plaza and there were many places where to eat and visit all around.
We were a couple of cyclists and the hosts were very helpful about it and they let us store two bikes in a safe and private garage and also filled our bottles with water before we checked out.
As for the hosts, they have been the highlight of the stay. They took care of every need we had. Also, we don't speak French, but we were able to speak with them in English without any problems.
We really recommend this B&B and for sure we will be back soon without any doubt.

Oloron is a lovely friendly town.
Oloron is a lovely friendly town. There are currently some road improvement works taking place in the town centre. This is a great location for exploring the Aspe and Ossau valleys or as a stopping point before the Spanish Pyrenees.

Basically there is no much there unless you want to go to the chocolate factory. A short walk along the river if you want to visit allow about 2 hours but stay elsewhere as there are not many restaurants

It was a good location for our planned trips into the valleys of the Bearn Pyrenees. As the main holiday season had ended, there was, I would guess, as much to do in the town but it was a pleasant town to be based in.

Unbelievable. This place does not cater for visitors. We stayed in a hotel in the centre but failed to find ANYWHERE to eat in the evening. Fortunately, we had food left in our cold bag, otherwise we would have gone hungry. If you are tempted to book a night here, do yourself a favour and stay in Pau. At least you will find places to eat.

A great place to stop driving from Huesca & Jaca Spain 50 kms from the Spanish border over the Pyrenees on the way to England. A quaint historical town on the rivers Aspe and Ossau.
There is a lively riverside atmosphere with cafes bars and restaurants.

The property is a little gem hosted by Jean-Luc, a lovely man who could not be more accommodating and, as an aside, the king of jam making and marmalade. The property is idiosyncratic and characterful with a lovely garden located in a charming and friendly town. Jean-Luc moved his car from his private and secure parking area so my wife and I could park our motorcycle. This is not a hotel, it is more akin to staying in a private house, sharing the breakfast table with others and being royally looked after.

Super, central location with garage parking. Really well equipped for a studio flat and the opposite of corporate hotels in its unique use of upcycled furniture and fittings. Most importantly, the exceptionally genuine, welcoming and generous hosts, the best we've encountered in many years of travelling. Have the breakfast!
I stayed for 6 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. It's the perfect place for a relaxing and simple holiday in Oloron-Sainte-Marie. The owner, Jean-Luc, is friendly and welcoming and the room I stayed in had a view of the garden and was very comfortable. Very quiet too.
A quite, perfectly located hotel. Although the lady of the house spoke no Engilsh and I spoke no French, we communicated very well using translators. This is not a criticism; this is a Frnch hotel in France.
