Set in a building dating from the 1930s, Hotel La Croix Blanche is ideally located in the historic centre of Tarbes, close to the many shops, restaurants and cultural hot-spots.
A welcoming, unpretentious place just about within the walking distance from both the airport and the town of Tarbes - the birthplace of d'Artagnan. Excellent bed for the price bracket, too. A decent pizza joint nearby, with suitably decadent toppings. If you fancy a few drinks, there is an Ibis hotel not far off... and they have a 24h bar!
The location close to the motorway is great. Also we knew there would be parking and that the hotel would be open even if we arrived late. The beds were really comfortable. And they allowed our dog to join us but naturally not in the restaurant but he could wait close outside.
It's a nice experience for staying at the iBIS for 3 days. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, and it's a pity that we didn't get the time to benefit from it. The buildings have 2 sides, 1 side is with balcony and the other side isn't which are at the same price.

Very well located, clean and comfortable hotel. It is close to the highway, but there is no noise in the rooms. There is a bus stop to Lourdes, Tarbes and airport in a few minutes walk. I reccomend it. Tres bien!
