Montceau Les Mines is a lovely tranquil town.
Montceau Les Mines is a lovely tranquil town. There are peacful walks along the canal with old photographs mounted in intervals at the canalside of how it looked and was used many years ago, which is very interesting. There are a number of super eateries of varying levels from fast food to high end Haute Cuisine, so something for everyone.

The hotel and surrounding area are really nice. The room was nice, clean, fresh and had air conditioning. I loved the low level lighting when I entered on arrival.
The building and it's facilities are really nice. Really liked the bar area, really liked the local town. Good selection of drinks.
The restaurant food was really nice. Breakfast was really nice too, really loved the self serv orange juicing machine.
The hotel was not an issue. The rooms are what you can expect for a roadside hotel. It was clean, next to a park for walking our dog and because of COVID, the breakfast had to be chosen the night before and then you pick up the tray in the morning to take to your room.
We stayed here during a father and son roadtrip. The hotel is part of an area with plenty of shopping possibilities. The hotel is modern. We found the rooms a little small, the smallest on our roadtrip. But for the price, relatively good. Breakfast was of good value.
It was clean, comfortable and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our dogs were welcome. The hotel boasts that its beds are particularly comfortable. Yes! They are. The restaurant was good. The breakfast was lovely.
The hotel was reasonable priced. Parking was available. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. We had dinner on the evening of our stay. Quality and quantity of the food was fine but not exceptional.
Excellent reception. Top notch room. Extensive breakfast choices. Something for everyone. We travel for work, and this hotel so far this season is the very nicest place we've had the opportunity to stay at.
This is a nice hotel at a great price. Parking was on-site, and free. The rooms are surprisingly big and comfortable. There is a nice restaurant on-site.
