Liked the grounds and the exterior. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t so good when we were there so we did not get to experience most of it.
A good location for a hassle-free stay in Montbazon, Logis du Lièvre d'or is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

We enjoyed getting a tour of the farm and meeting the animals. The breakfast was wonderful and our room was clean and very comfortable. We appreciated finding this lovely property to close to the chateaus we wanted to tour.
Just south of Tours, near the famous Loire Valley castles, the Campanile Tours Sud hotel is close to highway A10 and offers quiet, comfortable accommodations and a restaurant.
Hôtel balladins Tours Sud is just a 10-minute drive from the Parc des Expositions and the Vinci Palais des Congrès.

It much noise. But area was really fun. You wouldnt expect it, but great (hip!) bars and restaurants nearby on walking distance. Great value for money; next day directly back on the autoroute.
But.no airco and since its a bit located outside the living areas, lots of nightly noise (racing cars, honking trucks, etc).
Kyriad Tours - Joué-Lès-Tours is set in a private park just 3.1 mi from Tours and 6.2 mi from the train station. It provides en suite accommodations, a tennis court in the Loire valley.

It's okay for an overnight stay on the drive north-south or probably even for a city visit.
Location is a good compromise between accessibility by car, not so far from the main highways, free parking available, and, on the other hand, it's not so far from the Tour downtown. A modern train nearby will take you to the center of Tour in around 20 minutes. You can buy tickets at the machine at the stop, quick and easy, 1.9€ single one way ticket.
The hotel itself is clean, the room was large enough, no noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
In principle, you can stay there for a city tour if you don't mind taking the tram. Location is a bit far for a walk from the downtown and not the most fancy route. Uber at night to get back from the downtown costs around 17€.
Located next to the Lac des Bretonnières, 3.5 miles from Tours, this hotel features free private parking, a restaurant and rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi access.

The Originals Access, Hôtel Ambacia, Tours Sud is located in the heart of the Loire Valley, 16 miles from the Château d'Amboise and the Château de Villandry.
Beautiful property and location. Old but charming.
Beautiful property and location. Old but charming. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would like to go back and explore the surrounding area.
The food in the restaurant was exquisit along with the wine and service.
The hotel was incredible, amazing place with a lot of history. I would love to be back and walk around the place. It was clean, the best so comfortable and the room was just perfect. A bit expensive but it was worth it and I just discovered a place where I would love to be back for a long weekend away.
A good overnight travellers hotel. No frills but very clean, reasonably priced with secure parking and adequate breakfast. Close to the pretty little town of Montbazon.
