The property has been beautifully and sentively renovated and feels authentically French. We loved our ‘home from home’ for a week in this quite little village. It allowed us to travel easily by hire car to visit Beziers, Narbonne, Nimes and many other places. There is a lovely canal walk 100 metres from the property, and within 20 minutes you’ve walked to the Canal du Midi. The picturesque Le Somail, with it’s good range of restaurants is just 5 minutes drive away.
We were given an outstanding welcome, and Jon in particular proved to be a superb travel guide! We made significant changes to some our plans because of him - visiting interesting places that do not appear in any travel guide.
Breakfast was good, and the bed was very comfortable.

We were staying here to meet friends in a nearby village. The breakfast was delicious, and the owner offered my husband an additional custard desert from the night before - very kind. We ate in the garden, which was lovely. The check-in was at the time expected and very efficient. The decor of the room was imaginative and possibly Moroccan in style. Everything very clean. The owner was very welcoming and we would certainly consider booking again.

Dirk and his wife run this beautiful hotel. With so many period features, it is elegance personified. The rooms are wonderful, and one almost expects to meet Hercule Poirot on the beautiful spiral staircase. Breakfast on the terrace was really good. We were cycling the Canal du Midi and found the hotel really cyclist friendly. Dirk, thank you for a fantastic experience.
