House owned by eldery couple, they live on 1st floor and rent upper floor out. Great value for money. Some furniture is even not old but historical:) Rooms are clean, beds was ready when we arrived. Microvawe over, fridge, kettle, power and water utility - everything is fully operating. Hosts are very freindly, speaking French, German and Alsatian. Very quite environment, we fully recovered before next day long tour in Mulhouse museums. 20 min by car to Cite du Train.

Château D'Isenbourg is built on 12th and 14th-Century foundations and is located in the heart of the vineyards on the Alsace wine route.

The position was perfect to visit the " route des vins", close enough to the typical villages in our to-do list. When you arrive at the castle, the outside is astonishing.

This chateau is located in Guebwiller at the foot of the Ballon d’Alsace Mountain in a 3-hectare park. It offers free Wi-Fi internet access, a contemporary art gallery and a wine bar.

The rooms were very comfortable. The beds were high quality and the pillows were soft and plentiful. The blackout shades on the Velux windows made morning sleep a breeze for our toddler. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating and made us feel right at home. The selection of local wines on the menu was excellent. It was an easy five minute drive to the local town of Soultzmatt with some great tasting opportunities and tidy streets to stroll on.

Located in Westhalten, 20 km from Colmar Train Station, Auberge du Cheval Blanc depuis 1785 provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant.

The menu in the evening was nice, but the wine a little expensive 18€ per glass. Staff were very friendly and vey helpful. Breakfast buffet was ok. Overall it was nice but a little expensive.
