The location was fantastic with beautiful views over the Annecy lake, the hostess was very friendly and gave us a lot of tips where to go in the neighbourhood, the garden was beautiful to watch stars and the breakfast was amazing!
On top of that, the beds were so comfortable, we were very well rested after our stay at La Vallombreuse, I would 100% recommend everyone to stay here.

The room was very comfortable and the staff were unobtrusive. II was given a map and instructions on how to check out and then I could come and go as I pleased which was perfect. I got my own shower and had a decent view of Annecy. It's close to the castle and the town centre. If you don't opt for their offer of breakfast there are plenty of alternatives close by. As a solo visitor to Annecy taking in the location and facilities against the price, I believe I got great value for money.

The room was comfortable, staff very friendly and accommodating. The view for the room was fantastic as we saw the mountains. Breakfast was good and the unmonitored coffee/tea and water throughout the day was a bonus.

Menthon-Saint-Bernard is a very small town but it has a bar, restaurants, bakers and a well-stocked "local" supermarket. People very friendly! Where nearby Annecy is a beautiful, bustling city, Menthon is better for those who prefer the relative peace of the lake and mountains, yet is only a half hour drive into the city. There is also a bus service. Obviously very popular with cyclists, it is a VERY cycle-friendly place! There were lots of annoying roadworks at the time of our visit. We ate at the hotel and at the Chalet by the lake - nice, chilled pub-grub type food.

We have been visiting Annecy for more than 25 years and this hotel is in my opinion the best one around by a country mile. Exceptional location and very friendly and welcoming staff. Facilities are also excellent and so is breakfast. Would highly recommend.
Recently renovated, 3 star level. Continental breakfast ok. Best part of the hotel is the position right on the lake and the view of most of the rooms. We were there in very low season and the area was extremely quiet.
Everything such a beautiful, peaceful spot. The hotel was clean, beautifully decorated, staff were exceptional, bar staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
