Alexandra and Thierry really set the bar high with l'Attrape Coeurs, making this one of our all-time best experiences on Booking.com. We wouldn't hesitate for one moment to return here. The hosts were flexible with our arrival time, extremely welcoming and generous, and the house is stunning. They treated us like royalty and, amongst many things, offered us a tremendous breakfast. Their decorative skills are as good as their cooking skills, and we particularly enjoyed Alexandra's 'Far Breton'. The garden and terrace are wonderful, and we really appreciated a quick tour of their perfect vegetable garden. Exceptional hosts and experience. Many thanks to Alexandra, Thierry & Gaia.

Great house, good location, very easy to get every part of Normandy. In the house you can just put your suitcase and start living, have everything! It vas cold outside so we didn't have pleasure to sit in the garden and make conversation with our neibors...maybe nex time!
Village is very close, had good market and patisserie...

The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and were also comfortable and tastefully decorated. The guest house is very attractive and set in a large garden. Josephine and Jerome were friendly, hospitable hosts and their little dog, Shadow, is adorable. The breakfast is basic and not quite satisfying enough for us, so, on our second morning, we bought cheese, egg and smoked salmon to add to the fresh baguette and croissants that Josephine provided.
Set in a park on the banks of the Varenne’s river, the Logis Hotel de France is situated in Domfront, a medieval town characterized by its scenery and trails around the ramparts.
Located 11 km from Mayenne, Le Gue de Genes is located in Ambrieres Les Vallees and fofers free Wi-Fi access, a private garden and free private parking. Meals can be enjoyed at the onsite restaurant.

A hidden gem in the pretty little market town of Ambrieres-les-Vallees. A friendly hostess, delicious breakfast and a beautifully decorated and comfortable room. Very quiet considering its central location. Ample parking.

Mantilly is an ideal small french village that has basic amenities, a church and a nice small picnic lake area.
It's not ideal if you want or need a lot from a location and also, main regular supermarkets are at least 15km+ away and the local shops cost a fair bit extra if they do have what you need.
We were happy with our stay there because we wanted to get away from everything including the internet to rest but that's not for everyone. So if you are not happy with your own company and or that of your travel partner's or if you need attractions etc, then you might want to choose a larger village or town.
Even though we enjoyed the rest it gave us, I wouldn't personally or particularly recommend it as a must see or must visit location.
