The countryside surrounding the spot was breathtaking. And the sky at night was phenomenal! You could, near enough, see the milky way. 🌌✨
Also, despite it being exceptionally hot when we stopped over, the Tipi itself was very well sheltered from first light in the morning, so it stayed at a very nice temperature!
The platter of food put out for dinner was by far one of the nicest charcuterie boards I've had the pleasure of eating and the wine that came with it was delicious! We weren't too sure we were going to have time to stop for breakfast, but we're certainly glad we did, lovely coffee and croissant, traditional breakfast! Just what we needed to start the day!
I would also like to say that we did go over a little unprepared with our french speaking, but despite there being a slight language barrier, our host could not have been more accommodating!
All in all, definitely rate this place, 10/10!

Location is really nice with nice mountain river sound and view, if windows are opened. Clean and good sleeping. All there what you need as a base to hiking and exploring the wonderful so rounding.

A lovely apartment in the little village Sospel in the mountains.
We met the host in the door that showed us everything we could use in the apartment. She also gave us some good information about restaurants etc.
The apartment was very spacious. Old style but modern equiped. There were free coffee, water and other small things to us.
The bathroom was sensational with good space and a lot of products (to my wifes happiness).
The apartment was very central with nearby supermarket, restaurants and bakerys.
Worth mention is also that Sospel had a very welcoming touristinformation where you cuold get al info about hikes, walkingtours and buses.
Fantastic village and nature surroundings. Discovering the old village was amazing. The locals are nice and friendly even though we did not speak french. The local restaurant was good. Unfortunately the local boulangerie was closed due to holiday for the two days we were there. But the shop nearby had all we needed. I recommend taking the mountain road to monaco/menton if you like driving narrow roads. Many cafes along the way and really nice views.
