The room was of a good size, and bed comfortable and had plenty of choice of pillows of different size and types.

Seems, it is very authentic - not sophisticatedly modern, but warm, comfortable and domestic place near the Old City. And the problem with late hosting was solved in a very charming way. The stuff speaks French only, but there were no critical barriers in conversation and it is the good opportunity to learn it ;-)
