The rooms were very clean. It felt as though we had the place to ourselves. The gentleman on the desk was very accommodating, coming in early for us to check out before your flight.

All the staff were all welcoming and efficient. The whole property was very clean, with beautiful decor.
Our room was spacious enough for 2, with good clothes storage, and tea and coffee facilities. It was cleaned well.
The bathroom was clean and the towels and bath mat were clean and lovely.
The food at breakfast, though a little limited in choices of meats and cheeses, was absolutely fresh and beautifully presented in the lovely breakfast room.
The hotel is perfectly situated for easy walking access to the rest of the town, with a huge supermarket, as well as traditional shops, restaurants, a church, the riverside and beautiful streets

Lovely hotel run by a delightful couple, Michelle and Ann-e. They could not do enough for us and made our stay very special. The hotel has a echo of the Far East as the owners have constructed a Chinese garden which is wonderful to wander around.

Good breakfast, great dinner, all the compliments to the chef and your young head waiter also. Excellent. The location, your building, the service, the gardens, really great. Emilie and Sarah at the reception were very kind and we felt very welcome. Estelle was a very gracious host and her attention to detail and feeling for quality and cosines is visible in everything.

The place is quite central to very beautiful places to visit and the house is very comfortable with all that is needed for a holiday without mishaps. Limeuil ,the village is a few minutes away and it is fantastic. We visited a lot of places around in Perigord and it was fantastic. Note: you need your car if you are not planning to spend your holiday relaxed and not bothering to drive. It is comfi and quiet sipping a drink on the patio with the sound of singing birds in the back ground.

Limeuil is gorgeous.
Limeuil is gorgeous. It is a small town, built going up a steep hill, with ancient stone houses, arches and small gardens. It has a castle at the top where they were holding a children's Halloween party. Lovely, challenging walk straight up hill. At the bottom of the hill is a small park where you can watch the Vezere river join with the Dordogne through the leaves of weeping willow trees. It is an idyllic village.

We loved the location overlooking the Dordogne and Vereze...
We loved the location overlooking the Dordogne and Vereze rivers - we also very much liked the garden in the walls of the castle (that no longer exists. The hotel is lovely with outside terrace and quiet rooms. Limeuil is located near several very scenic and picturesque villages and towns with lots to see and do (canoeing, traditional boat rides on the river, art galleries, castles, abbays, scenic walks, lots of restaurants, no billboards and easy driving between spots.
A gem of a hotel where I will stay whenever in the area.
Everything was perfect. The staff were warm, friendly and very professional. The room and bathroom were well equipped and air conditioned. The whole hotel including the fabulous pool, was spotlessly clean. The restaurant has a fantastic view and excellent food. It's just a wonderful place to stay and relax!!!
Very nice hotel at an excellent location. It is in the middle of the old town and very near to the river where you can swim and have a drink with a beautiful view. Limeuil is not too busy. We were very lucky to be able to book this room at the last moment.
Beautiful small chateau/Manor House full of character. Staff very friendly. Very quiet secluded location away from the road and close to the river. A footpath and cycleway allows walking into Limeuil directly away from the road.
We dined in the hotel restaurant and had one of the best meals we've eaten in France. We had to leave early, before the official start of breakfast, but the owner arranged to have it ready for us and it too was delicious.
Unexpected but there was a fridge in room. On site restaurant & the food very good. The host were very welcoming & spoke good English. View from hotel of the river & the valley. Parking. Early check in.
