Very friendly owner and very helpful despite our language difficulties. He has a shed to secure bicycles though it’s not totally secure it’s so remote there is little chance of being found. The room was large and had all the facilities we needed. It’s rustic and charming.

D-Day themed hotel run by Charles and his wife. Beautifully appointed, recently refurbished with very helpful and accomodating hosts. First class breakfast. Our party of nine arrived on bikes which were securely stored for us on site.

It is a very quiet and peaceful little village on the banks of the river Douve. It has one very small pub/eatery that I know of, and the nearest shop is about four km away in Chef du Pont. Ir is close to Carentan and Ste Mere Eglise, where lots happened during the Invasion.
