The hotel is set in a quiet, rural location. The room was really good with a separate sitting room with sofa, a separate bedroom and a shower room. The shower was really good and the bed was comfortable.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good with plenty of choice.
All the staff were helpful and friendly.

My wife and I stayed at Le Relais du Biau Ri for just one night, using it as a stop-off point to break up our journey onward to Calais and Eurotunnel. We had some difficulty finding it at first (our google maps took us elsewhere until we asked a helpful local resident - there is actually more than one location with the same/similar address so be aware of this). On arrival, Michele greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the accommodation. Michele and her husband live in another section of the same renovated house in a peaceful, rural setting. The accommodation itself was lovely (it is upstairs though, so be mindful of this) - very clean with a well-resourced kitchen area and a lovely bathroom. The bedroom was very cosy and we slept very well. We also enjoyed the seating area outside the property - just what we needed to relax after our rather long journey. We paid the extra 7 EUROs each for breakfast (which Michele very kindly adapted because my wife is a coeliac and needs a gluten-free diet). We then had a lovely conversation with Michele and her husband whilst eating our breakfast - we were even introduced to their talkative donkey :-)
For us, Le Relais du Biau Ri ticked the boxes we required from it and we would use it again in the future for a similar journey stop-off point. You need to consider what you would do for food if staying here (we had brought some bits and pieces to tide us over and also knew we would have a breakfast in the morning - we're not too sure what the eating options would be otherwise - you'd have to do a little research).
What is certain is that Michele and her husband were very friendly and hospitable and the accommodation was spotlessly clean and has been well-thought through.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay! So FULL of character and interest in such a pretty rural village. Perfect situation for us visiting a War Cemetary and heading for Ijmuiden from our Pyrenéean Adventure. Warmest of warm and witty welcomes from Simon and Dad Charles who generously credits Simon with being The Boss! Both are clearly hugely talented. Breakfast is being prepared early for us as we have a long journey....no trouble. Simon brought freshly picked grapes for us soon after our arrival..delicious. Excited about the prospect of fried fresh eggs from Simon's hens in an hours time! Our apartment is so characterful and luxurious...linen and toiletries and books and things of interest, and when we call again anyone who can play table tennis within 10K had better look out...I'm good!!! Thankyou for the perfect end to our trip! Sue and Bill
