The Pressoir cannot be recommended highly enough - it is a restored walnut mill in the centre of the historic village of Cardaillac, about 10 km from Figeac. The interior is full of beautiful old features, yet our room had a super modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb - on one of our days the hosts even baked an apple cake specially for us, and there are fresh croissants, bread, home made jam, local cheese and butter, fresh fruit and home made yoghurt. The hosts couldn’t do enough for us, and we had some great conversation in a mixture of English and French.
There’s easy parking a few metres away, and village is great to explore.

Wonderful, kind hosts who made our stay very special. The property was a beautiful cabin in the woods with a magnificent view. Surrounded by the forest, peace & birds, this place is the perfect getaway if you need to rest and heal your soul. The cabin is clean, well equipped & luminous.
