Nice breakfast with homemade bread and jams and sweet little pancakes plus a fruit tart. Set us up for pleasant walk around the fields surrounding this farmhouse B&B. Guests have own communal lounge and this is where the TV is. Feels very much like a family home. Madame was away during our stay and her husband has just a little English but between us we managed to communicate. He tried very hard, and succeeded in giving us a pleasant experience and it was nice to stay with a private host - genuine B&B's seem almost to have disappeared in some places.

Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices and local quality food. Very friendly and forthcoming staff. Calm although located at the N10 road. While no restaurant, could get some very good food (in a jar, quite original) and the receptionist warmed it up for me. Was a good option as the hotel is located outside the city center and after a day of cycling, I preferred staying in the hotel. Comfortable bed. Good WIFI. Safe bicycle parking inside a garage.

Lovely host.one of the best places

This was an ideal location to break our journey. We decided to give ourselves a day there to rest and find out more about the area. We had come prepared with food for Sunday evening to heat up in the farm's microwave. Unfortunately the local restaurants also closed on Monday - I checked with the tourist office and they were all closed, so be prepared if staying here for limited availability. It is an attractive area - Chateaudun has a nice ambiance, and deserves to be better known but the tourist facilities aren't quite in place.
