Only 20 minutes from eurotunnel, and very close to autoroute. The property had ample parking space, was quiet but but close to Ardres.
The owners were exceptionally welcoming and delivered a delicious breakfast to our apartment in the morning, all included in the cost.

Wonderful house in an amazing garden! At the bottom of the garden is a gate that gives access to the path along the lake, nice walk (slight detour) to the town. The room with en-suite has its own entrance. Breakfast is in a very charmingly decorated dining room. The host is very helpful and made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast with eggs from her own chickens, home made jams and home baked cake was lovely and plentiful. We stayed just one night on our way back to the UK, next time we will try to have some more time there. Ardres is a lovely little town with several restaurants - we had a great dinner. We'd love to go back.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and very tastefully furnished. The welcome cocktail was a wonderful surprise, and the breakfast basket was lovely. Views of the lake were fabulous, both from the garden and the apartment. To top it all, the bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great night's sleep.
