Very welcoming hosts and staff, comfortable room, amazing restaurant (would recommend one go for the full meal plan), convenient location (next to a ski rental shop). Remember to take the free ski bus to save the walk in those ski boots

We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable hotel. It was in a great location away from the centre of town but near enough to walk in to eat. Quite a few restaurants to choose from and surrounded by lovely scenery. Our double room was a good size and we could sit out on the balcony. The breakfast was good. There was secure storage for our bicycles.

I have been to les arcs to ski on many an occasion but never stayed in bourg-saint-maurice. The hotel was lovely, and the staff were lovely. My wife ended up accidentally leaving her bags at the hotel and they couldn't have been more helpful helping the bags get shipped (still hoping on them being returned by the courier 😉). My wife and friend ejoyed exploring the town while I cycled up the cormet de roselend (which is one ticked ff the bucket list 😄).

La Rosiere is a ski resort high up the Petit St Bernard pass above Bourg St Maurice.
La Rosiere is a large chalet-style modern building near the top end of the main street. Parking just across the road. Step-free access to a lift for those with heavy bags with wheels.
Room was very comfortable, with toilet and shower.

Lovely French village split into two easily walkable areas.
Lovely French village split into two easily walkable areas. We stayed in Les Eucherts which is fab. Plenty of ski shops for rental choice. 10 mins walk to La Rosiere main area. Very pretty resort generally with incredible views. Highly recommend it for a range of ski abilities. Mostly blue and reds wide slopes. Not too busy at any time during week.
Skiing in to Italy is easy and different and there’s a WW2 fort!
Approx 3 hour transfer from Geneva
Overall highly recommend this friendly stunning under rated French resort, easy to get around. Ski into Italy

If you take a skilift on top, you can take the best picture of Monblan, which looks really near! I've never seen it better.
Otherwise, excellent ski slopes for all levels, really enjoyed our stay.

I would recommand la Rosière for a short stay if your looking for a village ambiance and beautiful snowy sceneries. The views are spectacular.
There’s nice activities to do even if you don’t ski (we visited la Rosière during covid-19; ski slopes were closed).
Lots of options to rent gear, shop and there’s a good size Carrefour for groceries as well as a caterer. Nice food at Le Comptoire!
Everything is walking distance.
The locals are very friendly and welcoming!
All-around cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

La Rosiere is a very family friendly medium sized ski resort, if you include La Thuile. Ski runs are not particularly demanding but together with the Italian side provide 3-4 days of enjoyable skiing, assuming snow cover is good.

The hotel itself is very nice. Loved the rooms. Our room was a little on the small side but that wasn't an issue. Rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable - you have everything you need and more. Very comfortable bed. Ski-in, ski-out is a great plus. Nice and quiet location. The cleanliness of the hotel is top notch.
Lovely family run hotel. Beautifully presented in classic alpine style. Very friendly and helpful. Wonderful south facing terrace for an evening cocktail and if the weather is bad a wonderful central wood burning fire. Lifts to all floors. Great boot room. Definitely going for a return visit next year.
The location is perfect. Very close to lifts, shops and restaurant. With a regular shuttle to the other part of the resort stopping at the hotel's door, it is really easy to move around. I also liked spa area, although seeing little children in sauna was rather new experience.
really amazing hotel with friendly staffs. we arrived very late at summer, we feel hungry but nothing to eat, the receptionist helps to request the restaurant to wait us and provide a dinner for us.
Our rooms with Mountain View which is so beautiful!
