We booked a whole chalet which was a great choice for a group of 5. The hotel has ski-in / ski-out access which makes it extremely fun and convenient.
The staff are really helpful and friendly and the overall customer service is exceptional!

The location was very good if you wanted to use La folie douce which closed at 7pm each evening we was then able to either take the cable car down or ski over to our hotel then walk the rest of the way.

An excellent place to stop over on the way past. Reception were helpful for a late check in. Our room was quite small, with very limited space, and I think large people would not be very comfortable. Beds where comfy but not large, and the shower is only 70cm x 70cm. Shutters meant it was actually dark in the room. I would happily stay here again.

Lovely French village split into two easily walkable areas.
Lovely French village split into two easily walkable areas. We stayed in Les Eucherts which is fab. Plenty of ski shops for rental choice. 10 mins walk to La Rosiere main area. Very pretty resort generally with incredible views. Highly recommend it for a range of ski abilities. Mostly blue and reds wide slopes. Not too busy at any time during week.
Skiing in to Italy is easy and different and there’s a WW2 fort!
Approx 3 hour transfer from Geneva
Overall highly recommend this friendly stunning under rated French resort, easy to get around. Ski into Italy

If you take a skilift on top, you can take the best picture of Monblan, which looks really near! I've never seen it better.
Otherwise, excellent ski slopes for all levels, really enjoyed our stay.

I would recommand la Rosière for a short stay if your looking for a village ambiance and beautiful snowy sceneries. The views are spectacular.
There’s nice activities to do even if you don’t ski (we visited la Rosière during covid-19; ski slopes were closed).
Lots of options to rent gear, shop and there’s a good size Carrefour for groceries as well as a caterer. Nice food at Le Comptoire!
Everything is walking distance.
The locals are very friendly and welcoming!
All-around cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

La Rosiere is a very family friendly medium sized ski resort, if you include La Thuile. Ski runs are not particularly demanding but together with the Italian side provide 3-4 days of enjoyable skiing, assuming snow cover is good.
Hotel was great, with comfortable apartments. Living room was a bit small with sofa space only for 2 or max 3. Heating and altitude made everything super dry though. Kitchen small but well equipped. Liked having ski locker next to apartment. Sauna and pool well appreciated. Depending on apartment building could need to walk a bit through resort with skis, but only 100m max. Good staff, can order fresh bread and croissants. High price but booked last minute.
Excellent location for both hiking and skiing. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, the parking is in the garage downstairs and there's a sauna available in the same building, plus a table tennis table (if you can not longer go to hike =). The kitchen has all you need to cook meals at home. The balcony offers an unobstructed view of the valley and the mountains across. The communication with the hosts was great at all times.
The chalet was very spacious, all the bedrooms were a decent size. Location was fantastic too. A well equipped kitchen with pantry for extra storage. There was a little terrace to sit out on when the sun shone. The chalet was a 5 min walk from Eucherts chai lift, ski rental and ESF meeting points, plus a little supermarket and boulangerie too. Then a 10 minute beautiful forest walk to La Rosière.
The apartment was really nice.
It was always warm and we always had hot water.
The beds were comfortable. The best thing was the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub.
We used it every day and it was fantastic. The location of the hotel was ideal because it was a very short distance to the bottom of the ski lift and you could ski right back to the door. The ski room was excellent.
The global experience at the hotel is really very good. The staff is very helpful. The food at the restaurant is very good (even for half board guests). Good breakfast too with a large offer. Rooms are spacious, very clean. This hotel is a very good value. The ski room very well equipped with individual lockers with heaters for ski boots. The hotel is not far from ski lifts.
Lovely family run hotel. Beautifully presented in classic alpine style. Very friendly and helpful. Wonderful south facing terrace for an evening cocktail and if the weather is bad a wonderful central wood burning fire. Lifts to all floors. Great boot room. Definitely going for a return visit next year.
we got an overall comfortable and soasious apartment with a great view. the location is fantastic with ski in / ski out, however there is a bit of walk to the village (not much) if one needs to go on foot. the apartment had everything we needed, was clean and pleasantly decorated.
Amazing location and views from the terrace at breakfast which was very good and great service from the staff. They kindly let me park my motorcycle in their garage which was a bonus. Room was spotless and well appointed very good quality service great stay at the hotel.
The apartment was spacious and had a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful.
It was in a great location and the spa was lovely and clean.
We would return to this apartment again if we come back to La Rosiere
Location. Virtually brand new. Very comfortable. Great views across the valley. Great spa facilities. Clean. Spacious. Car Parking. Excellent restaurant, not part of the hotel. Friendly staff.
Excellent services, from the reception to the restaurant or ski rental. Friendly personnel, aways smiling and kind. Very nice views and a very comfortable room.
