The restaurant and hotel, run by this amazing couple, just exude dedication to making their guests feel at home. Our experience was beyond splendid, not just because of the fantastic food and hospitality, but also because of their warm personalities. We couldn't resist indulging in their weekend menu, originally planning for just one night. But it was so darn good that we found ourselves craving another round. Thanks to Estelle, who worked her magic to squeeze us in for another delightful meal. Firstly, let me say without question that the staff were very hospitable and friendly and went out of their way to help.
Furthermore, the setting is superb and there is plenty of parking, so on paper this hotel ticked all our required boxes. We did not use the spa facilities so cannot comment.

A beautiful village which can be walked around in a couple of hours. An ideal starting point for local walks in the woods or day excursions to the northern Vosges. If you like jazz and can be there for the August festival ("Au Gré du Jazz"), you will be in heaven!

Our appartment in delightful la Petite Pierre, was one of the highlights of our trip, situated in the heart of the old upper village, very near the castle. It was well appointed, with everything we needed and very comfortable. We appreciated the private terrace, where we had our meals and the lovely breakfast bag every morning.
The only disappointment, was that their restaurant, which is Michelin recommended, had it's rest day on Monday and Tuesday - but we had good meals at the hotels in the lower village. Highly recommended!
Attractive old building in the centre of the village. Dining room with extensive views over the countryside and good food. Lifts to all floors. Private car park at rear. Excellent busy bar (The Tivoli) serving extensive range of beers (including Belgium) within walking distance. Friendly hotel cat. We were only staying for one night on the way from Germany to the Channel Tunnel so didn't have time to use the swimming pool.
The hotel has a lot going for it, the location being one. The breakfast was tasty and varied, the lady looking after breakfast was very Nice and made a good coffee. Hotel was very clean. Views from the window were really something. Lots of facilities, spa, bar etc. The guy in the wine bar was very friendly and wine prices were very reasonable. We came with our dog who was treated very well by all staff.
Nice hotel in historic French village, Room was on top floor with balcony and beautiful across valley and old town. room was comfortable. Good restaurant on site for evening meal and breakfast. we were able to park van across street from Hotel. the staff made effort to speak English with us which was appreciated.
A beautiful experience! The hotel and restaurant are right next to the medieval castle. This historical part of La Petite Pierre is a quiet pedestrian area which directly brings you in the holiday mood. The hotel is very clean with superb decoration, has a kicker for kids and personal very friendly.
Made an overnight stay on the way. But we discovered a real gem. Would go back for a dedicated visit. The hotel is very clean and right next to the charming small ancient Chateau. Host was super nice and friendly.
Dinner was really good, the hotel was so nicely decorated, very cozy, very friendly receptionist, the view from the terrace was amazing, great location, breakfast was good! We loved staying in this hotel!!
