Really welcoming place to stay that is great value for a family. We would definitely stay here again. Some of the rooms are a little dated, but everything works well and the location is excellent if you are going skiing - just a short walk to the telecabine (which has lockers if you want to leave your skis and equipment there at the end of the day).
Hôtel Yaka, located in Angles, is ideally situated just 40 metres from the ski slopes. It is also near the Spanish border and the Principality of Andorra. Free WiFi is available throughout.
The Carlit is located in Font-Romeu-Odeillo-Via, in the eastern Pyrénées, 150 metres from the telecabin which permits to reach ski-run and start for hiking.

La Llagonne is directly connected to the Capcir valley where sunshine is shining 99% of the time. The village is ideally placed to be able to connect to many different walks/hiking trails. Spain is just 25 minutes away.
Going around La Llagonne is really easy. There are many places to eat from, in la Llagonne, Font Romeu, les Angles, Mont Louis or simply pic nic. The location is closed by mega spa amenity in les Angles or thermal bath in Llo.

I should have reserved dinner for the first night because I didn't contact with hotel person about it. However, I ate a fabulous dinner on the second day. And I also appreciate the breakfast cake made by the hotel staff.
