The bathtub plug was missing, the tap was locked and supplied the water to the shower only.
Cold, it took whole day until the temperature inside was acceptable as the heating system(electric radiator) was inefficient. The temperature in the corridor not much different from outside

The room was good and had a door that opened straight outside which was easy with the dog. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location was good, like so many of these hotels it's in a semi industrial area with good access to main roads and autoroutes. The reception area was nice and welcoming and the reception staff had read our late request and put us in rooms next to each other that were even adjoining which helped massively with being a family and having shared luggage.The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. It's clearly a family run business.
Fans had been placed in the rooms (although very grubby and dusty) due to the heat as no air con.

La Chaussee-Saint-Victor is a great location about 3 kilometres from Blois. It has easy access to motorways and routes to visit the surrounding local areas. There are a couple of petrol stations, a supermarket and a boulanger ie where you can get a sandwich when other restaurants are closed on a Sunday and possibly Monday. We stayed at Le Relais de La Tour, a fabulous family run guest house which I could highly recommend.

The hotel was easy to find. Although located at a 'Route Nationale', there was no noise in the room. The room was very clean. The lady of the house was very friendly. The breakfast was good but not extensive. The home made marmelades were excellent. The garden was nice and offered plenty of parking space.
Charming hotel with lots of character. While near a major road it feels as though you are in the country.. owmers are so helpful. Very good restarant. Fish was exceptional. Would like to return in the future. Plenty to explore in the area..
