Patrick and his wife were wonderful and warm hosts during my two night stay. They were very flexible, accommodating and kindly gave me a delicious apricot-based dessert when I ate my dinner on the terrace outside my room!
Their home and my room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. It was a perfect location and short 15 minute walk to my friend’s wedding in the village. Would highly recommend!

The staff were very welcoming and although we arrived before formal check in time it was not an issue. Indeed they upgraded our room on arrival which was very welcome. Room was very comfortable. Huge bed and lovely walk in shower with great views. Breakfast was a buffet which was fine and coffee was good.
This family-run hotel sits in a garden, in a quiet residential area, 1.5 km from Uzès historical centre. It has an outdoor pool and offers nice views over the countryside.

The hotel was easy to find and in an excellent location. Our hosts were very friendly and the language barrier was not a problem at all. Our room was very nice with a spacious bathroom.

We liked: the garden, the friendly hostess, the excellent food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, the possibility to bring our 3 small dogs, the closed and secure (during the night) parking lot in front of the hotel, the little forest behind the hotel to have a walk, the pitoresque village of St. Quentin-la-Poterie with the lovely café "Chez César" and the calm location of the hotel.
Le Vieux Castillon is located in the heart the small medieval village of Castillon-du-Gard, a 35-minute drive from Nîmes and Avignon. The famous Pont du Gard is 3.5 km away.

The village itself is quaint. We loved the pool and lounger area of the hotel.
There are 3 restaurants in the village (plus the village BAR, which is a MUST to experience). The local restaurants all close on a Wednesday, so we ate in the hotel, which was fine but not as good as being out in the village (in our opinion).
Set in the Languedoc-Roussillon countryside, this hotel is a 2-minute drive from the town of Uzès. It features an outdoor swimming pool with a solarium and a flowery patio on the first floor.

The hotel is lovely, beautiful terrace and pool area. Breakfast every morning was fabulous, family run. Especially liked the homemade ‘La confiture!’ Hosts were helpful & extremely friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

20 Minutes ride to Uzes which is a very scenic town with its marketplace. We like the restaurant Bec du Vin right in the heart of old town, very romantic place. Had an excellent dinner at "La Maison" in Gaujac, just ten minutes ride from our place.
Trips to Arles and Avignon for the photography and theatre festival are obligatory and we enjoyed a trip to Carmague with Aigues Mortes as a great stop over in the evening. Unique place!
