We stayed here for one night to watch the Tour de France and everything was excellent. The gite was very clean and very well equipped. The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming. There is a little general store just a few minutes walk away with fresh bread and lots of local produce. The garden is lovely with a wonderful view of the hills above and in a peaceful location. The only thing we regretted was not booking for another night.

The restaurant ("surprise" gastronomic menu) and the breakfast (all fresh and local food products) were amazing ! The castle is surrounded by a peaceful park and landscape with a wonderful view on the Pyrenees! We really enjoyed the historical background of the castle and its historical art. We really recommended it in order to get away from the city and to have a nice time as couple, as well as having a nice food experience in an historical ambiance.

What we liked the most about Mohair des Alpy is the warm welcome and the friendliness of the owners Eric and Marie-Laure. They told us all about the region they live in, and are obviously very proud of! They gave us great ideas for hiking and sightseeing in the area. They are obvioulsy very proud of their herd of angora goats, which are very cute and lovely to have around. We enjoyed the location of the B&B, very quiet, the only thing you hear at night are the owls! Peace and quiet all around. The use of a fully equipped kitchen is certainly a plus, since there are not that many restaurants in the area.
