Charming staff who were very helpful.
The evening meal was exceptionally good - some of the best food we have had.
Also there are electric chargers on site, which was very helpful

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. The staff are professional and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, and with nice views. Dogs are allowed in the rooms but not restaurants, so we had room service. There is electric car charging and it’s an hour from the Eurotunnel, which is convenient.
The Dolce Vita offers modern en suite accommodation, right next to Bruay La Buissiere’s urban planning area, Porte du Nord. Rooms are equipped with flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access.

A convenient place close to the English Channel for a stopover. Also close to the battle fields of World War One for those wanting to visit that area. The hotel, La Chatreuse du Val Esprit offers a range of good restaurants for residents and non-residents. Close to the motorway but not too close.
I was upgraded from the Best Western to the neighbour Chateau Val de la Chartreuse. Both hotels are part of a group of very nice buildings with beautiful gardens. There is an atmosphere of noblesse, but keeping the guests feeling well. Excellent breakfast (despite there was no scrambled eggs, but enough other good things). I appreciated the small refrigerator in my room. I was there as guest of a wedding, we had lunch with excellent food and wines, it was just amazing
The reason we booked this place is because an on site restaurant was open on the Sunday evening. Our room was amazing value for money, massive room clean and tidy with a large en-suite bathroom with bath and walk in shower. The WC was separate. Very comfy bed with fresh sheets and towels and a well stocked mini bar. I have already booked again for our next trip in a couple of weeks.
Great location and beautiful grounds and garden around an impressive hotel. Stayed in the old chateau as the other part of the hotel was closed. Very nice and lovely staff. The decor eg.carpets are getting a little tired but it doesn't affect one's stay. Lovely drink in the grounds and plenty of great little spots to relax and admire the setting.
The hotel is set in the grounds of Chateau Chartreuse with acres of kitchen gardens and parkland to walk around. The Chateau is next door and has 3 distinct and very good restaurants catering to differing tastes and wallets, We ate in the Distillerie which was excellent and has a fair selection of wine by the glass.
We have stayed at this hotel many times whist travelling to and from the south of France. The hotel has remained very dependable with a choice of restaurants and good food, pleasant rooms and an attentive staff. The gardens are well worth visit. The hotel is well placed close to the A26 motorway but not too close.
Excellent service and great position if you are heading to (or driving from) Calais. Staff very polite and the structure is phenomenal . Rooms are spacious and the park surrounding the hotel/castle is fantastic.
The hotel and room were exactly what we expected. Large, imposing and peaceful. The dinner in the Gastronomique Restaurant was sublime, harking back to days of silver service. Great food and great service.
Pleasant, well run hotel, ideal for a stop over on the way into France, 50 miles from the tunnel. large airy rooms and an attentive staff. Good choice of restaurants with excellent food. nLovely breakfast.
We have stayed here before and everything was fine except it had been a really sunny day and the room was very hot as there is no air conditioning. Other than that all was good at hotel and restaurant
we’ve had an amazing stay at La Metairie hotel. Everything was great - welcoming staff, stylish and clean room, lovely dinner and amazing grounds. would love to come back
