We rented a large room and a smaller room in a big house. The owner was very kind to allow us to arrive after the official hours. We had a breakfast, which was simple but sufficient. We also enjoyed walking around the garden. We only stayed their for a night, so did not have time to completely profit from the calm of the place. The place has a lot of vintage furniture which you may find charming or somewhat worn, according to your taste.
the hotel was a great find for a stopover on outer French Roadtrip, heading back from a wedding In Carcassonne area. great pool to cool off in, lovely gardens and easy check in, with good on-site parking. the air con was really good and welcome during a hot period, 30°+, and the ability to have a dog stay was great too. good on-site restaurant, great food & wine. we’d stay again if driving through again!👍🏻

We appreciated the friendly staff (at all levels) and the secure off-street parking for our car and camping trailer. A short walk from the Logis brings you to the river which runs through Fontenay and is a peaceful distraction after a day's driving. The standard of food in the hotel restaurant was excellent and good value for money.
Lovely hotel with charming staff right in the centre of historic Fontenay-le-Compte. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, terrific value for delicious food. We stayed two nights before driving down to Villeneuve for a week. We enjoyed it so much we will stay there again on our way back
Very pleased- the room was ideal, right next to the car park- breakfast was excellent, but in particular the hotel restaurant was absolutely superb. The food, setting and ambience were excellent.
