Wonderful welcome, stunning location, excellent company. We had a beautiful room and a fantastic four course evening meal in the garden. A magical place and exceptional hosts.
A small town of 300. No boulangerie at present. One due to open in a month. No super market Restaurants limited. Rarely open. La Grange open for lunch.
Close to larger towns and Alessia the museum and to biking on the canal

A very old medieval village which is very quiet and has few tourists. It was the location of the film Chocolat but there is little reference to it but if you see the film you will recognise the streets and buildings. You need to be aware this is very much rural france so there’re are no banks or cash machines but shop and restaurants take cards. There is only 1 grocery store, 2 restaurants and in the dAy just 2 cafe bars.
