The pool was a pleasant surprise. Not that it was there, but that it was actually open and clean. We were visiting family nearby, so the location for that was good.

Ferney-Voltaire's value lies mainly in the fact that it is linked to expensive Geneva: busses go between the two and you can walk across the border. However, the little town also offers excellent bakeries, supermarkets, green spaces and parking. Importantly, there is also easy and regular transport to Geneva airport, though make sure you know how to get to the Swiss side or the French side for departing flights. For solo foot travellers it is a valuable alternative to access Geneva without a car.

Just another cheaper alternative for Geneve on the French side. It's rather suitable to those, who need the airport, for all the rest you better choose Annemasse, which is connected much better with Geneve and has more to provide on its own either.

Currently the area feels like a building site (June 2023). It’s is very dusty at times and the pavement on the walk to the hotel was full of rubble, which wasn’t easy to navigate through with a suitcase on wheels.
There is a lot of building work going on just outside the centre of town and it can be noisy for hotel guests

Ferney is of course the jumping off point for Geneva.
Ferney is of course the jumping off point for Geneva. The fact is though that it’s got a good selection of groceries, lots of great restaurants, stores, banks, transport etc. it’s also pretty and has a lovely Saturday market with tons of affordable high quality food. The history drew me to Ferney as well, since it’s been hundreds of years of it being where people go to get away from how dull Geneva can be haha.

Breakfast not provided by this type of accomodation as expected. The location was 15 minutes from Airport and main City by frequent and reliable public transport. The pickup of key from nearby reception at local hotel was well organised and happened exactly as stated by the owner. The Owner provided a bus timetable which allowed us to use the buses to meet tours in the City and also get to the airport at the end of our stay. Met the Owner by chance on the last day and he was a friendly and considerate young man. Would recommend this place.
The bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby, the TV was the first TV we have had in a hotel room where you can actually stream your phone to it. Netflix and chill. The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was very clean and the immunity was great, and having the Alps as a few everywhere you looked couldn't have made it any better. Round the corner from lots of shops and just a short half HR bus trip into the center Geneva all for only €8, would recommend to anyone and would 100% stay again 😆
the location was very near to Swiss border and the public transportation was very comfortable, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and it takes us to Geneva city centre in 20 mins. The swimming pool was amazing , they have gym and sauna. The room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Nice staff.
Very well-appointed unit, clean, well-lit with excellent internet. Very comfortable and clean place. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed comfortable and access and egress very clear. The host was helpful and an excellent communicator. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Ferney-Voltaire again.
Very nice hotel room. Easy keys collection from the 24h reception desk. Modern, clean, small room with bathroom included. Free car parking in from of the hotel. Good location close to the airport and some 15 minutes car drive to the center of Geneva. Recommend.
Its closeness to Geneva airport and public bus to Geneva just around the corner. The rooms clean, comfortable and a nice terrace outside the room. The hotel staffs were friendly and accomodating.

The room size is nice and the location next to the shopping center is perfect. If there was AC and pool and a shuttle running throughout the day, it would be the perfect hotel.
The property was close to Geneva Airport, which is what I needed to make an early morning flight. Their breakfast basket was appreciated. Nespresso pods, fresh fruit, juice.
Lovely place to stay. Great if you want to spend your time in your hotel to sleep in the evening. It is located close to a bus stop and a supermarket, which is a win-win!
