We know the hotel and the restaurant for more than 40 years, so we knew that old-style place. Unfortunately we arrived on Sunday late afternoon and had to leave on Tuesday morning, so we could not eat in the restaurant. The hotel was so nice to inform us about this upfront. Everybody was very friendly. We consider this place as good value for money.

The place is extremely quiet and serene, as it is in the middle of nowhere. All you hear is birds and sunshine. The host serves local food for breakfast and just appears magically when you need him.

Good breakfast with home made yoghurt and jams. Very helpful host who spoke English and was able to suggest and book a good place to eat in Beaune. Very quiet setting. Individually decorated rooms. Nice to stay in a B and B that felt more traditionally French than an anonymous hotel when travelling. Although outside Beaune it was an easy and straightforward drive into the city.
