The staff were very helpful and tolerant of our poor French. The hotel is ideally suited as a base to explore the area which is fascinating and not too touristy. Great mountain walks and little villages to explore abound.
We only had breakfast at the hotel on the last day of our stay. It was an extended version of the continental breakfast. Coffee, croissants and bread and jam, cheese or honey. Plus yoghurts, fruit salad and muesli. There were no hot options, but that didn’t bother us because we never have a cooked breakfast. Given French prices for coffee the access to a coffee pot for as many cups as you like alone was worth the price of the breakfast. We certainly did not leave the table feeling we needed to call into a boulangerie to fill up :-)

The location itself is not great, on the edge of the industrial outskirts, but the grounds of the hotel are very pleasant, and it's nice to look out over the garden and pool at the back from the bar and restaurant. The food was good, and reasonable, both dinner and breakfast.
