The staff were so rude and unhelpful. The owner Gregory was dismissive and shouted at me when I complained about a meal we ordered in his restaurant across from the main hotel. We ordered fish and chips. Our food arrived within less than 5 minutes, my wife cut into her fish and said '' it's raw don't eat it'' I cut my fish and it was raw as well. The chips were burnt and limp. We called the waiter and told him the fish was raw. He offered us a fresh meal which we refused and we left the restaurant. We want to the hotel and informed a staff member what happened. We asked if they had a table available and we were given a table in the restaurant. We ordered Panko prawns starter and Lobster main course. The Panko prawns were burnt. The Lobster came with chips, again limp and burnt. We should have complained but we didn't. The following day I went to reception and spoke with Gregory. What a disaster. He shouted at me, told me I didn't have an appointment with him, I tried to have a conversation with him regarding our experience "you don't have an appointment I'm in full service. He told me I was ignorant and didn't know anything about French food. I left the hotel. I went back later in the afternoon to speak with Gregory again . I asked to speak to him a member of staff told me he was of for the week, again a very abrupt and rude member of staff. When I went to book out I was handed an invoice which included 3 days breakfasts, we didn't have breakfast on any day that we stayed

Convenient and I slept very well, shutters, opening window, sea view and very comfortable bed and pillow. There was a very good restaurant a few doors down the street sorry don’t remember the name.

It was in a lovely village, but also close to Ouistreham ferry. We had a lovely overnight stay and because we had an early ferry we couldn’t stay for breakfast, which looked like it was going to be as lovely as the accommodation.

If you are a history buff, Courseulles is a great location to explore the main D-Day sites. It is also a good spot for a relaxed family vacation as there are many interesting nature and architectural sites to visit and several excellent trekking trails in the area. As my trip was focused on the 80th D-Day anniversary, I hope to come back and experience the other attractions which Courseulles and the surrounding area offer.

Romain was a most helpful host. His breakfasts were fantastic especially his freshly made orange juice
The town is very welcoming with interesting aspects. The oysters on sale at the quay were some of the tastiest we have experienced

I was there for the Juno Beach Ceremony of D-Day. The whole city was great. Being within walking distance of the Juno Beach Centre was fantastic. As well as being able to walk the beach. Be sure to check out the little restaurant at the one end by the small inlet. Also Cote Plage restaurant with a Mini Golf Course.

Courselles-sur-mer is a sweet little place with some very nice eating establishments - great for seafood. The smell of the harbour and the sight of seabirds picking amongst the fishing trays was entertaining and scallop shells everywhere!

Good quality places to eat, good for walks along the seafront, lots to see in the town and the various areas close by related to Normandy Landings.
The town is exceptionally clean which can be said for the majority of the towns around the whole area.

Delightful, and for anyone visiting the nearby British War Memorial you could not find a better or more convenient hotel. Our room in an annex overlooking the sea was charming.
Excellent, if rather expensive restaurant (£110 for a two-course meal for two with a 50cl pot of wine!) which quickly filled up with both hotel guests and others - so advisable to book. Continental breakfast with fresh orange juice machine was enough to start each day.
Super little property for those visiting Normandy. Even better if like us you were visiting the Normandy beaches and museums.
Two Boulangerie's within a few minutes walk, perfect for breakfast. 10 minute walk to the Seafront with plenty of restaurants , bars and shops. Supermarket only a short drive or walk away.
Perfect for small groups.
The hotel itself has a nice independent personality. The room was small but unique with its own decor , and a nice shutter window overlooking the street. The staff at reception were always very friendly, and breakfast was really lovely in the morning .
A warm welcome by the owner and great communication throughout. Beautiful hotel with a luxurious feel. Spotlessly clean. Very central but in a lovely quiet area. Highly recommended.
Very nice hotel with great hostess who welcomed you.
Great beds and very close to the beach.
The continental breakfast was very comlete and great quality products.
