More a hostel than a hotel. A curious set-up whereby, during the day, you contacted someone and they gave you a security number to let yourself in. Bistro food was adequate, parking...if your, lucky outside but excellent location for a one night stopover

Close to a couple of nice restaurants and other shopping. Suited us great for an overnight stay on way south.

The staff member we dealt with was incredibly helpful and cheerful. The Ostalou is very good for a single night as a driving break for a longer journey. There are numerous restaurants close by and the parking although not specific to the hotel is large and free.

Staff were very friendly
A tea tray was provided for us free of charge and they provided food on Sunday evening when everything around was closed!
Nice location, close to the river. There are 6 rooms, on the second floor. I had a spacious quiet situated room with a sink. A communal toilet and 3 showers are close to all the rooms and they work good and are very clean.
Free parkingspots are nearby.
The restaurant of hotel de la Poste serves nice food.
The restaurant is closed on Tuesday and the local supermarket too!
The room was much better than I anticipated and the dinner I ordered from the restaurant was excellent. The location in Coudes is great and you can investigate the river and winding streets easily by foot. All the essentials are in very close walking proximity. Breakfast is ordered the night before and set out for self service.
Cute traditional French hotel in a gorgeous scenic town. Excellent value for money when on a tight budget, clean room. Friendly staff. Bonus is that you can order a meal up to 8.45pm so it was great for us as we were late arriving. Would recommend it to budget conscious travelers

"hotel de la poste" then you know is in the village centre. Location was ok. Is an old building with somewhat narrow feeling. For an overnight stay just fine.
