The property was quite comfortable and the cooking facilities were adequate. Views along the canal levee were good. It was a very quiet location. We appreciated the fridge and small table. The property is designed for 2 people only.

A beautiful and historic chateau and arboretum with a fabulous host. The room was large and comfortable, the self catering area very useful and we loved exploring the grounds with the collection of trees and plants created by the owner's forebears. We arrived to the place in the afternoon before dinner time. The owner offered to prepare a light meal for us, we accepted. We conversed with the owner couple during meal preparation, as well as we zipped from a good bottle of red wine, lovely! We finished with a nice tour of the premises. A perfect stay and area, especially for biking and wandering. The full charge was very reasonable, thank you for a great experience!
