We did not sight-see as we were just passing through, but the area is really beautiful and we saw signs for water activities on the river. The peace and quiet appealed to us and we would certainly go back.
We loved the location. A little off the beaten track beside a beautiful river. The room was simple but super clean which I liked. The accompanying restaurant with it balcony over the river bank was lovely and the food was good. Felt good to be supporting a local business rather than going mainstream to a faceless hotel. Breakfast was at an additional cost but with fresh pressed orange juice and homemade strawberry jam it was a pleasant experience. Certainly a place to relax and take a step away from the rat race.
