My 3 daughter's were especially very fond of Jim. He is the best. Very accommodating, great humor and down to earth. His wife is a nice lady. Clean room and lovely terrace/outdoors. Nice place to stay. The girls discovered the gameroom too late.

A little town that time has left behind being midway between Ruffec and Confolens. There is an incredible hidden collection of interesting cars, many Model T Fords, Peugeot and Panhard Levassor. Not sure how you make contact though.

This area of France has SO much to offer the tourist.
This area of France has SO much to offer the tourist. The tourist board has a long list of places to visit, from Chateaux to Zoos. There are numerous restaurants serving freshly prepared meals at sensible prices. The roads are usually very quiet and it is wonderful to take the 'back road' when you are not in a hurry to see the real 'rural' France. Many villages, like Champagne Mouton, are picturesque and most offer pathways to country walks - ideal for those who like to stroll. Champagne Mouton is a quiet village, with a post office, a small supermarket, a small, twice weekly market, and a bar/café. You will need a car to reach the many restaurants in the area.
