The self check-in takes your payment before telling you if it can print a room key. In our case it couldn’t, leaving me, my wife and 2 young children stranded, with no one to call to help. Shocking, disgusting and disgruntled.

We have stayed here several times before and have got to know both the town and the hotel well. We really like it and use it as an annual stop of to and from skiing. We book the restaurant Les Sarments in Place de Republique. Great food and atmosphere but it is important to book in adavance.

We only stopped overnight but the hotel was on the town square and there was free overnight parking immediately outside the hotel. There were also a number of eateries and bars on the square which all appeared acceptable.
We didn't have the time to stay and look around the town next day but it looked to have some interesting features and was a fairly typical French town with easy access to the Autoroute.

This is a perfect place for those who like culture, history and architecture, e.g. Notre Dame-en-Vaux, or Chalons cathedral and would like to taste champagne or to discover the picturesque tiny villages in the Champagne region. Not far from the Catalaunian plaines (Attila/Aetius 451 CE/AD).

A great place to use as a stop over or even spend a couple of days to visit the local Champagne Houses in nearby Epernay. A good selection of bars and restaurants all serving tasty food. Chalons-en-Champagne is very easy to walk around with no traffic to cause you any problems. The central square is a great place to park.

This is a quirky boutique hotel in the centre of an historic village with an excellent restaurant serving authentic French cuisine. The pop art sculptures and unusual decorative touches provide the quirkiness. Well placed halfway up France so an ideal stop off. Secure parking. 5 mins off main road. Helpful staff. We’ll be back.
Lovely place in a nice, quiet location near a beautiful park and gardens. We only used one bedroom but would have had a great time here when traveling with a group. Free parking on the surrounding streets. Responsive and helpful hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with tools and utensils. We'd definitely stay here again!
They actually gave us a better price for the room compared to the one on booking since we were only 2 people. The room was adequate for a small trip.
It is well located to visit several touristic places and also there are several restaurants and bakeries nearby.
Nice reception area, room was actually a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchenette, lounge area and enclosed balcony. Was all new and clean, nice spacious bathroom with big towels. Underground parking was handy as it was pouring with rain. Near city centre but quiet.
We had a wonderful stay.. Lovely modern apartment, spacious, nearby supermarket, safe parking, surprisingly quiet. All communications, checkin checkout were remotely managed, but Celine was prompt and helpful.

Decent studio apartment with minimal facilities for a short stay.The grocery stores are very near and it's a calm quite area.The host was kind enough to bring in extra blankets as it was cold.Streetside parking is available.
Reception was closed. The self service machine did no recognise my booking so no key and no bed at 9.30pm . Had to book into a nearby hotel that did have a reception manned by humans. I’m waiting for my refund. Useless!!!
The hotel is located right in the center of Châlons-en-Champagne, near all tourist attractions. The room was comfortable and clean, and unlike in many other hotels, towels weren't replaced every day (at my request).
Centrally located, on a busy square but near to beautiful parks and walking areas. Very quiet at night. Close to restaurants. The room had a refrigerator. We were allowed to check-in early, which was nice.
The hotel room had a lovely view overlooking the church and was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
