Lovely building and surroundings which I fortunately had for myself, I particularly enjoyed my walk around the park, and the breakfast was impressive for just one person. Enjoyed chatting with the friendly owner too.

This was a great hotel to stay at for my 40th birthday - I loved every minute of it, from the moment we arrived in the dark at the gates, going along the driveway with the chateau lit up to exploring every part of the chateau we possibly could the following day. The breakfast was lovely, and the recommendation for a restaurant was superb. I hope to come and stay here again, perhaps in the summer when the pool will be open and warm enough for a dip! Staff were very friendly, however reception is only open for 2 day time shifts and it was a little bit disappointing that no-one was there to greet us on arrival - however they had left us our keys and instructions. The only negative was that the wifi was not working the first night, and our mobile signals were a little flakey - still with a comfy bed we were very happy to retire! Highly recommend a visit here!
