Calm, much character, interesting story about the meteorite that fell in the area and was used for the construction of the grange.
Le Vieux Fournil is the perfect couples getaway. Everything you need for a very relaxing break. Superbly renovated old building nestled in beautiful countryside with just birdsong as an accompaniment. We felt very lucky to have found this delightful place. Sue and Darren are the perfect hosts with nothing too much trouble. We will definitely return. Chabanais and surrounding villages are very picturesque with the mighty River Vienne flowing through the centre.
